The per-unit record is live

As of this week, the record each NFC card opens stops being a promise. It reads that specific unit's checks from our registry, with the measured value, the date and the signature of whoever ran them.

The report only closes when all seven checks have passed, and it closes with a date. Test units are flagged as examples, so a sample record can never pass for a sold watch.

There is an example record linked from the authenticity page. Every real watch's record will look the same, with its own serial number and its own measurements.
